My work is individually tailored and includes a variety of approaches based on cognitive-behavioural and solution-focused therapies (CBT) which have a strong research base. I also incorporate relaxation training, mindfulness meditation and hypnosis when helpful. We will work together to help you learn the skills you need to master your difficulties, gain self-confidence, meet your goals and live a more satisfying and meaningful life. I will consult with you every step of the way and encourage you to give feedback, ask questions and share your thoughts and feelings about therapy.

The goal of assessment is to identify your problems and to design a treatment approach that would be most effective for you. The assessment involves an interview and possibly psychological tests. If you need a neuropsychological assessment for evaluation of your cognitive functioning related to a head injury or brain disorder, you will be asked to participate in additional tests of cognitive functioning.
I have extensive experience providing psychological, disability and neuropsychological assessment and have provided numerous psycho-legal assessments for motor vehicle accident claims, disability insurance, Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), and the Ontario Disability Support Plan (ODSP). Reports will be completed within a reasonable time frame and will be sent to the professionals you have authorized.
